very, very rarely.

al shabbray 09.11.2008 05:24 PM

ok, but that difference to never makes you human :)

Cantankerous 09.11.2008 05:26 PM

i don't remember the last time i cried for an emotional reason
the last time i really cried because of pain like a year and a half ago there were big bloody sores eaten into my scalp from bleaching my hair

EMMAh 09.11.2008 05:26 PM

I cry maybe once every few months. Most of the time I'm not even full out crying either, it's more watery eyes.

I want chilly

MellySingsDoom 09.11.2008 05:27 PM

I don't cry that often, but when I do......and it's usually for damn good reasons too.

same for me.

Cantankerous 09.11.2008 05:30 PM

i'm trying to remember the last time i cried other than from pain
still nothing

yep, mom was right

MellySingsDoom 09.11.2008 05:34 PM

Surely you cried with laughter from the last pic I posted of me on the "Post a pic of yourself" thread? :p

That's weird, I don't cry from pain.

Even when my kidney stone was at it's worse and I had to go to the hospital. I was crying because I didn't want to be there, not because of the pain.

if you've never had huge, weeping sores eaten into your scalp by chemicals...yeah, you'd cry.

MellySingsDoom 09.11.2008 05:49 PM

Physical pain? Hmm, I used to have a hernia, and even though I was doubled over in sheer agony at times, I never cried. Cantankers' experience though sounds truly horrible...I would've cried at that too, most likely.

The last time I was beaten up (by three guys), I didn't cry - just felt bruised and a bit shock

al shabbray 09.11.2008 05:51 PM

the last time I was beaten up (peak was at 4 guys( I had to laugh, which made them kick even harder...but the alcohol killed the pain pretty good

Cantankerous 09.11.2008 05:51 PM

it was hands down the worst physical pain i've ever experienced in my life, and it was gradual so there was no endorphin rush to calm me down

Danny Himself 09.11.2008 05:51 PM

I haven't cried in years.

terriblecanyons 09.11.2008 05:54 PM

Before my grandpa died, the only time I'd cried in the past few months was when I'd broken my foot. At first it didn't hurt all that bad, my foot was just twitching and numb. And then after about 10 minutes it really really started hurting, and that's how I knew I broke it.

Jesus.....that IS agony - pure torture, by the sounds of it.

My sister has informed me that childbirth was by far the worst pain she'd experienced...

MellySingsDoom 09.11.2008 05:57 PM

It lasted well over a day for her - no wonder she didn't get pregnant again for well over 10 years. Still, my oldest niece rocks!, so.... (Her most recently birth was a "mere" 3 hours).

Cantankerous 09.11.2008 06:00 PM

someone irrelevant to anything and everything:

my mother was only in labour for 5 hours with me
it was enough for her to never have any other children

demonrail666 09.11.2008 06:05 PM

I have three options if I go to the Tesco Metro across the road. Do I:

A. Buy some ice lollies
B. Some kind of roasted chicken breast with a tub of either potato salad or Coleslaw
C. A bacon and egg sandwich.

All options come with the inevitable packet of twenty Pall Mall superkings.

MellySingsDoom 09.11.2008 06:07 PM

Go for B. You'd only end up being disappointed with the lollies again.

EMMAh 09.11.2008 06:10 PM

A! Pick A!

MellySingsDoom 09.11.2008 06:12 PM

Pick A, demonrail, and you'll have a friend forever in EMMAh. Vote B, and who have you got? Me. Clearly, there is no choice. Vote A. NOW.

Cantankerous 09.11.2008 06:12 PM

C sounds good. cigs and breakfast food.

EMMAh 09.11.2008 06:17 PM

By the way, I like those Pall Malls, do you smoke the red ones?

demonrail666 09.11.2008 06:20 PM

Now I have a problem: Emmah say A; Melly says B and Cuntankerous says C.

I am edging towards the sandwich option, but know that it's a slightly depressing one.

Regarding the lolly-disappointment factor. I've re-discovered Soleros. The Lolly of champions. Absolutely zero chance of any man feeling short-changed with a Solero.

Fuck it. That's settled it. I'm buying lollies.

Yeah, the Superkings. Cheap as fuck without tasting like shoelaces.

MellySingsDoom 09.11.2008 06:30 PM

Demonrail regularly berates me for smoking Malboro Lights, claiming that they're "poof" cigarettes. Bastard!

I bet Demonrail comes back with a pizza instead of lollies.
