I bought a loaf of bread for $0.78. I figured it would taste horrible, but I gave it a shot. It turns out that it's not bad at all. PB&J's on me!

Groceries.

A phone at Target for 15 bucks.

One of those tiny emergency sewing kits. I'm always paranoid I'm going to bust a button on my trousers at work.

- Car excessively guzzles gas [CHECK]
- Craves chocolate & consumes [CHECK]
- Could give a fuck about a "forum reputation" [CHECK]

actually though, I work from home and drive very little.... but make sure to have a fun time when I do drive! I put under 5k mile per year per car. So yeah, my car blows gas, but I probably still consume less gas than most anyone else here... unless they're riding bikes in the city.

TheDom 08.23.2009 09:03 PM

I don't think I bought anything today

But you paid for something. You used electricity and water, right? Watched cable?

In all honesty, I can't get too holier-than-thou with you b/c almost all my clothes are made in China and the car I drive isn't exactly a hybrid. But it just rubs me wrong to see big new cars on the road in these times of worry over climate change and other environmental problems as well as our dependence on oil. I would have pos repped you if you'd bought a brand-new hybrid of some kind.

gmku 08.24.2009 06:34 AM

You'll never get that blonde with just a pack of monster munch. Start saving your pennies for the boat.

demonrail666 08.24.2009 06:40 AM

i have a jar filled with change on the mantlepiece. by my estimations, if i keep saving the way i have, that boat'll be mine by around 2289 (inflation rates allowing)

Come off it, we both know that you'll spend that change on a chicken kebab within the next couple of weeks. Yoiu'll have to keep on dreaming about getting that boat.
