I needed black for my darker pants. My shoe wardrobe is now rounded out.

These are sooo comfortable. I also like that they are extremely simple looking (read plain design, no flashy logo display, etc.). They're leather, and I feel I can wear these with semi-dressy (ie, dark khakis, casual dress pants) or jeans. They are also a classic shoe design dating back to the 60s.

I find my brown leather doesn't quite go with my black pants, though. They're good on the brown/tan/olive side of the spectrum, and with jeans, but I almost think for black trousers you have to wear black shoes.
