at the end of each-- i don;t know what to call it-- the chorus goes briefly bananas like a bunch of alley cats. i wish there was a track of pure that.

Thanx, will listen at least Zizi-part some of these days (going to go outside home for few days).

More recently-ish, she had a small part in Zodiac, a movie bookended by Donovan's "Hurdy Gurdy Man".

Well, I haven´t seen that movie. I haven´t recently watched any movies (last spring saw one Finnish-one). We are going to do some movie evening in our family, but I think the first Hobbit will be the next movie (it´s what´s children want to watch).

Wow. I never knew that. I've always loved Say Anything, and I've been a Mats fan for so long that I feel like I must have first heard them in a former life. But as good as "Within Your Reach" is (possibly my favorite Replacements song), I can't imagine that seen going down any other way.

But that's probably because I've only ever experienced the scene with "In Your Eyes." The more I think about it the more I think "Within Your Reach" would be fucking awesome! It's hard to say if the scene would be as beloved if it featured a less popular and accessible song... It would totally change the tone of it all completely.

but yeah - imagine if it was an even more universally powerful moment. I doubt it would have changed a whole lot for the band, since the movie came out in '89, near the end of their career. But who knows what kind of a difference a popular song in a popular film would have made for them in that last stretch?

So... Are you Genteel Death, then?

You got the glasses right. They're thick. Not because of Rivers Cuomo, but because the lenses are prism.

The rest is laughably wrong. Ironically, I'm pretty sure your profile would have been more accurate if you'd read any of the "bullshit" I write.

I would never actually pre-order on iTunes. There's no point. For a new physical copy of an album, yes... so I don't feel bad about downloading it illegally long before it comes out, or burning a promo from the store into my computer.

Sorry if I misspoke.
