i haven't actually seen this predictably crap movie, but from the poster alone i can tell you must be right.

i just watched the anime version of highlander. part was cool, part was crap, but it's ok cos i was half-working doing some repetitive tasks while the tv was on. i rate it maybe a 6 out of 10? oh i didn't dislike it-- some was stylish. it was just the... oh, some of the dialogue was complete tripe. sure, it's anime, but i do have high expectations.

nice-- check out "cronos" & "mimic" which were del toro's first 2 features. mimic is a bit of a horror blockbuster type movie but it's nevertheless enjoyable. "cronos" is a low budget made in mexico story that really works at many levels-- quite admirable.

my latest conquest:

wonderful, wonderful stuff. eat your heart out, david lynch!

Good choice, I love Deren.

I watched Velvet Goldmine and a documentary on Sally Mann on TV.

k-krack 06.24.2007 08:13 PM

I (heart) Huckabees, again. Such a great movie.

Alex's Trip 06.25.2007 01:42 AM

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou

The best part of the movie came on, where they are about to see the jaguar shark. The Sigur Rós music came on. I was all into it. And the fucking phone rang.

Florya 06.25.2007 02:07 AM

Shrek the Third - the joke is getting tired.
