Tony Scott is remaking The Warriors. It's supposed to come out this year. He remade The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, which came out last year. I saw it and felt it wasn't a patch on the original. What is it with Tony Scott and his desire to remake classic movies of the 70s set in New York? Which film will he remake next, I wonder? The Driver?

atsonicpark 02.18.2010 10:25 AM

Tim Burton produced 9.. he put money into its production. Otherwise, he had nothing to do with it.

A real neat picture. Small, but with alot of big ideas, almost no stone unturned.

And fuck yeah for the Falcon.

8/10. Mhh... I don't know what to say. Todd Solondz's movies are disturbing and he really has a particular style, I like him. Now, I would say that Happiness is better but this one is really good too. Also, the ending was great.

atsonicpark 02.19.2010 05:00 PM

Yeah, I dig Helvetia. Just d/l'ed Objectified, thanks.

Todd Solondz rules. All his films are masterpieces.

Keeping It Simple 02.19.2010 05:14 PM

Has anyone seen this yet?

Better than I expected (good photography, very good acting on the whole, it was just awkward at times in the storytelling, and I noticed a few chronological mistakes).

Pookie 02.21.2010 06:22 PM

Best film I've ever seen about a rat chef.

Oh yes, it was great. I mean, it's Circle.
I'm kind of excited, as their showing a documentary of making this documentary at the Tampere Film Festival next month.
Oh, and also Sami van Ingens Just One Kiss - The Fall of Ned Kelly with live soundtrack by Kemialliset ystävät and Risto Ylihärsilä.

my fiancee rented this for us. Wanted to see it so bad. I LOVED IT. It left me thjinking crazy shit for the last 2 days. fucking awesome goddamn movie. 10/10

we also watched THIS IS IT.

the michael jackson doc about the concert rehearsals. It was really good. It was unbelievable how someone who was under so much intensive medication could go and perform these rehearsals over and over again, and sing the whole time, just amazing. I did not think I would like it as much as I did. 9/10. It really made me think what a shame it was that he died before he could stage even one night of this show. cuz the shit was gonna be fucking BIG

This had it's moments too.....I've always thought Patton Oswalt was pretty funny.

Def. had a few errors that sports nerds like me would spot out.

Struggling to finish this right now. I can't believe that THIS is the Dead Like Me movie.
