Great stuff. Great, great fucking stuff.

I feel a Lips kick coming on. I haven't listened to them in a while, but I can feel it building up in me.

wow.

System, the new album from Datach'i, features 16 tracks created exclusively on a Eurorack modular system.

I guess they have a new single out, but I can't get my hands on it. Spinning this instead for now.

Not a huge fan, but I like it well enough.

i just downloaded that datach'i on someones recommendation, but haven't listened to it yet. there is a bonus album of songs for the pre-order.

i have been mesmerized by the new m. geddes gengras album. the first track blows my mind. at 34, very little music gives me that reaction these days.

new john chantler on room40. not as good as last year's release, but hey it's john chantler so of course it's pretty damn good. never been disappointed by one of his releases so far.

I've got a predisposition to like everything that pours out of these guys' hatches but yeah, it's excellent. not as abject as the abyss, I guess this is a bit more even a match between lescalleet's and drumm's tendencies, more sentimental and overbearingly personal than the last record.

emperor tomato ketchup is probably their most lauded album. that's where i started. i also like dots and loops. honestly after that i kind of lost interest. a lot of their music sounds similar. jim o did some playing and producing on cobra and phases. that was the last 'lab record i bought tho.
