The Roots? As in ?uestlove and company?

If so, yeah. Not the most consistent, but pretty good.

That's exactly why I'm making a compilation. So far, it's pretty outstanding. And even the tracks that don't make it are just boring. They rarely, if ever, totally suck.

All day long, though the night, and now into the morning.

"Trust the art, not the artist", eh? Agreed, except that one's not "awesome" nor "bi-polar" either — guy's just a douche, and the "art" shows it.

Is this a cassette? Looks like something I want to hear!

Pretty sure he is actually clinically bipolar, but whater

He’s also a douche, most definitely

But that doesn’t make the music sound less great.

"Didn't cha know" by Badu. Like, over and over. I might take a break now and then to listen to Cole's "Too Deep for the Intro" but same thing, only faster and with different words.

Can't find anything else by her I like as much.

Dude, listen to the “New Amerykah pt. 1 (Fourth World Wonder)” and “World Wide Underground” albums. Both super good. My faves by Erykah.

What's everyone's favorite Dinosaur Jr album? At this moment I wanna say Green Mind for me.

the debut or you're living all over me, no contest. latter kicks arse on consistency standards but the self-titled just has a little summin-summin to it

Agree 100-percent.

For a long time I would have said “Bug,” but I think that was the primacy effect at work. That was the first Dino album I ever heard, and “No Bones” and “Freacscene” made a hell of a lot of sense to me as a teenager. But now, I think the “You’re Living All Over Me” is the best, and the debut is the one I’ve listened to most in the last few years.

I think I prefer You're Living All Over Me to Bug. But I haven't listened to the s/t in a while. I'll have to fix that.

Severian 06.08.2018 02:34 PM

Something other than “ye” for the first time in a week.... “Kids See Ghosts”

noisereductions 06.08.2018 04:40 PM

So still Ye. Just not ye.
