Shellac-At Action Park....two weeks ago....ran 5 miles one way to get it and bought it while pouring sweat onto the counter, and then I ran back with it....it was glorious. The cashier must have thought I was insane.

gmku 11.14.2006 01:36 PM

Sounds familiar. I did that about a year ago when the record store called to tell me my vinyl copies of The Modern Lovers were in. I ran from work to the store to my car, drove home, called in sick, and had a time.

gmku 11.17.2006 12:40 PM

This just in: gmku was just handed a check for a small monetary award for job well done in workplace. gmku was last seen making mad dash for bank en route to record store.

Torn Curtain 11.17.2006 12:55 PM

It's not a cd but it's great (even if it only includes bootleg live footage):

I love Chain Gang, and what I have heard from the EP... how's Pretty in Black? Should I bother picking it up?

Nice. If those albums were women, I'd hot dog their bums like a jackhammer on cotton.

Don't forget to mention those NME magazines you get!

Sleeping Pilot - Panic Sex
Not a bad album I must say. Always great to hear debut albums. They do a much better job live, especially since they start tackling people in the crowd while they play

Haha, in that case I'll pip down
Hopefully a lot of records though, I end up hiding all the albums I buy from my parents since whenever they see I bought one they try and make me pay rent.

"If you can buy that crap, you can help us live"

And so I keep telling her that SunnO))) or Mono WILL help her live, but she just doesn't budge.
