Playing Other M, the extra play thru after completing the game. Also some RE4. I saw my first trailer for RE6. I'm really excited for game. Leon is my hero, gameplay looks the same extreme quality as RE5 but it seem to have a new fresh spin on it.

Don't know if you ended up picking it up or not, but I've yet to hear an actual positive review of the game. Having not played it myself, I don't personally know. But I always hear the same thing about it, 'great trailer, terrible game'. Hope you like it if you did pick it up.



I've been playing through my own Steam summer sale purchases right now. Namely Total War: Shogun 2, Fallout 3, and Disciples 2.

Hopefully some Guild Wars 2 beta. That's if this download ever finishes and nothing crashes.

I did indeed pick up a copy and I'm quite enjoying it at the moment. Best thing about the game so far are the RPG elements and the open worldness, bringing freedom to the gameplay. The combat's ok, too. It's much like a cross between Farcry, Resident Evil and a George A. Romero movie. :)

I am tempted to buy the advanced copy, but 3 day early entry (I'll be at Burning Man) and mystery in-game item (o, no) are just not worth the "what ifs".

ALL online games are best purchased a week after release.

let me know how beta is! I'm excited about the pvp and I really think I can get my wife to play. she's....really into pvp.

I just bought the GOTY edition of Civ V for $13 on Steam.

I was playing the GW2 beta a bit last night, but wasn't quite in the mood I guess. Played a bit more today and I was enjoying it more. It is better than Rift. I like the stories so far. I haven't gotten very deep into any of the questlines yet, still trying to get a feel for which character/story/race/class combination I like best and want to pursue.
Some of the creatures are really really ugly.
It annoyed me that the Asura (I think that's the name) are almost exactly like Goblins. They're both ugly and like engineering/science. So I guess there's a bit of Gnome in them too. More later.

Nice, I'm gonna ask my cousin to rebuild a tower I "stole" from work.

I've been playing the new one myself, Shogun 2. And it's been a blast. It's my first experience with the Total War series. I have Rome as well, which I've seen plenty of fans swear by as the best in the series. I'll be pumped to try it soon.
