"i brought a watermelon"

I've seen it a couple times before though.

I've seen this hundreds of times before, and know a lot of the words by heart.

ha ha ha congratulations. i used to think it was waters's "funniest movie ever" but when you are ready check out DESPERATE LIVING.

divine is actually not in it, but the script is insane and the movie rules.

BOLLOCKS!!!

all of this has been available on DVD for YEARS.

wait...

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_...0&Go.y=0&Go=Go

it looks like it isn't available in the PAL/UK version

but #2 on that list is "very crudely yours" box set which includes pink flamingos

you could also order from ameriKKKa, and you'll benefit from the exchange rate

http://www.amazon.com/Pink-Flamingos.../dp/B0002RQ3M0

if you don't have a multiregion player & an NTSC monitor, you should be able to play it in your computer.

h8kurdt 10.28.2007 09:30 AM

Ok thanks man. I was able to hack into me dvd player and make it region free (cheap dvd players for the win) so I shall make a purchase!....soon as I get another pissing job that is.

My lady and I saw two movies this weekend.

Over The Hedge - very cute and I liked it a lot. It was funnier than other animated animal movies I have seen. it looked great too.

The Good Son - Man, I did not know what to expect from this movie about the OSS and the early years of the CIA but goddamn it was GOOD! I liked it a lot. Very beautifully filmed, and very engrossing. Great job by Matt damon. he can act about a million times better than his buddy Ben WhoFleck. I enjoyed it very much. it is LONG but it is worth it. It is the best movie I ahve ever seen with angelina jolie in it, and she was the worst thing in it! man that chick has just one note. All she can do is loud oevr the top, whetrher sad or angry. she has no acting subtlety whatsoever,

all of them except for octavia st. laurent were dead as of 2003.

btw there is an "update" of sorts. im trying to hunt down this movie

oh i also found this interesting bit of trivia:

Corey died of AIDS at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in Manhattan.[2]
After Corey's death, a mummified body with gunshot wounds was found in Corey's belongings. [3] A note attached to the body said, "This poor soul broke into my apartment and I was forced to shoot him."[1]

luxinterior 10.29.2007 07:37 PM

Wow, I had no idea. I would love to see that follow-up.

Tokolosh 10.30.2007 04:47 AM

Syd Barret's first lsd trip.

Tokolosh 10.30.2007 05:02 AM

I've got that one. It's pretty cool 8mm footage which ends at the Abbey Road Studios.
If I'm not mistaken, it was mushrooms.

sarramkrop 10.30.2007 05:05 AM

It was lsd.

the double life of veronique...
not sure how much i enjoyed it really, the styling and cinematography, although visually spectacular, felt really contrived at points. it was quite dissapointing as i loved the styling in the trilogy but here it was too abundant and made me feel like kieslowski was using it as a cop-out, styling the film for the sake of it to make up for the laziness of the plot. i really felt like i wanted a literal explanation about the two women, and i think that leaving the film with such ambiguity did not fit into the narrative style of the film as a whole. i felt like it was just awkward to not explain such things - sometimes having too many possible outcomes just reeks of clumbsiness.
