Thing about Yes is the irony isn't it? They are supposed to make very complex and progreesive music that will stimulate your senses and appease all the audiophiles of proper musical taste.
Yet, they ended up sounding redundant and boring much of the time. |
I don't like Soundgarden.
I don't like Rush. I enjoy The Sounds and The Libertines. I can't listen to SYR 5 or In The Fishtank |

I'm not sure if the Yes comments are unpopular here, but they would be with lots of people I run into at shows and record stores.

Paul Di'Anno was a better Iron Maiden vocalist than Bruce Dickinson.
Tetsu was the best Malice Mizer vocalist, much better than Gackt and Klaha. And MM were always much better when they played their guitars than when they used harpsichords and choirs and pipe organs etc. |
The chances of a Rock record being enhanced by the addition of a keyboardist is so slight that if I find out a band I've not yet heard has one, I'll almost always write them off.
