a vinyl import of this single by small Glasgow indie band Peter Parker. I already know I love the music, I just wanted it on vinyl and got it on amazon for $7.02 after s&h. I simply have to wait 18-26 days for the international shipping. It'll be worth it
![]() Single is titled "Swallow The Rockets" with both that song and "Temper Temper". |

I just ordered Richard Youngs' "Inceptor" and "The Naive Shaman" on LP. Fucking stoked. |
Saw this person at a gig, wasn't familiar with it at all, bought the vinyl because it was cool and I didn't think I'd get another chance:
![]() Turns out it's fucking fantastic. Seriously worth checking out if some weird ass combination of Laura Veirs, Laurie Anderson and The Incredible String Band sounds like something you'd be into. |

I didn't buy them, but due to me finally getting another turntable my GF gave me all her Misfits vinyl. Earth A.D., Die, Die My Darling, + Famous Monsters demos. Ain't she sweet?
Esp. excited about Earth A.D....the only album I never owned on CD even though I had most (if not all???) the tracks from it on the collection 1 + 2 compilations. |

Looks like one of the best boxsets EVER. Kinda expensive, unfortunately... |
I think $160 is a fair price. Looking forward to hearing Autechre's and Prefuse73's remixes of The Bug.

Did technically buy these, but a good friend was moving house and has basically been forced to shed a load of her vinyl, insisted I pick a pile of stuff to take home. I felt bad, but eventually caved, because I got:
SY - Sonic Nurse SY - The Destroyed Room SY - EP Yo La Tengo - I Am Not Afraid Of You And I Will Beat Your Ass Steve Reich - Octet, Music For Large Ensemble and Violin Phase (1980 ECM record) Belle and Sebastien - Tigermilk Bob Dylan - John Wesley Harding The Beatles - The Beatles McCoy Tyner - Trident Neil Young - Everyone Knows This Is Nowhere Don Cherry and Latif Khan - s/t Fugazi - In On The Kill Taker Archie Shepp - Blase (I've never heard/heard of this, but I'm exited. It's on Actuel, and the line up is batshit. Shepp with Lester Bowie, Dave Burrell, Philly Joe Jones, Julio Finn, Chicago Beau, Jeanne Lee!) |
^godDAMN! what an awesome friend!
i got this on LP today: ![]() i now have eight more LPs to complete SY's "main" discography. |
