thats the best photo i could find. check out the movie. it's good. |
Saw this the other day. I am a big ol' BOND fanatic, who actively hated the last 5-6 movies deeply. This one was excellent! make more!!!! Saw this in theater on saturday with my g/f who had to duck and cover cuz it was violent. Great movie, freaked me out pretty bad. Gotta love the Coen bros. |
|
i saw this at the weekend, one of the worst films i've seen in a long time
i did watch it on mushrooms and that didn't make it any better, boring, waste of time |
For Rob: Heart of gold is mainly Neil live in Nashville, playing Prairie wind songs and a few classics (like I am a child, Old man, Comes a time, Four strong winds...). Apart from the live there are short interviews of the musicians at the beginning.
It's very enjoyable (if you like the country side of Neil Young). |
list movie i watched was Superbad yesterday - very much enjoyed it... The funniest laugh out loud film i've seen in a while.

saw this last night. Not as outright funny as some Pixar movies, buty I was entertained. The main female lead in the movie however, whoevere played her, had the single worst faux-french accent EVER! iot went from sounding like plain american english, to flowery french to sounding like a chinese lady trying to speak french. it was horrible. It was as bad as Keanu reeves on again off again accent in Dracula. |

ow. possibly russ meyer's worst movie. i blame rogert ebert's script. and 20th century fox's involvement. next time i recommend oh yeah! truly awesome... |

well i was going to do my project on "dead man", but for some reason i thought doing this movie would be easier. it's not |

well yeah. i don't blame you. it's a fucking boring movie! too late to switch? chalk your 2 wasted hours to experience. the good stuff: etc. |
no i think i have to present it tomorrow. i'm doing an all nighter. i liked the movie more a few years ago and when i didn't have to do it as a project. i haven't seen any of those movies, but i'll check them out now.

No Country for Old Men
I thought it was really well done and liked it better than Blood Simple, and about the same as Fargo. |
i'm not there
i don't have an opinion but i like the soundtrack |
Almost Famous.
It used to be one of my favorite movies and I watched it so much I couldn't watch it anymore. But it's been years so, I enjoyed it this time around. |

the birth of a nation
actually, i didn't finish watching and had dreams of being ostrisized for watching it and saying that i liked it, even though i didn't make it to the part of the ku klux klan. but yes, i liked it, it's both absolutely frightening, sinister and hilarious at the same time; yes, super production for the day but there's so many dumb mistakes and acting that...c'mon!! there were better actors at the time already. also, most of the girl on that film are fucking hot! so yeah, i hope i get to see it all next time. ED:: i forgot i just watched the big lebowski!! |

yes, that's exactly my situation with that movie. |
went to see this with my girlfriend on Saturday night. I liked it. As with most anderson movies I will have to see it again to get the full effect. My g/f fell asleep though. The combination of bonghits and the martini's at the bar upstairs of the movie theatre did her in about an hour into the movie. I have gots to get my ass to India. |
...i'd forgotten how awesome this was... i've watched it twice within the last couple of days.... |
also, most of this... but it was getting late... started nodding off at the end, i'll have to watch it again. |
À bout de souffle (Breathless)
what a movie!! i hadn't seen it until yesterday -- ps- jean seberg there looks like schizo or what? |

i know. i know. i blame postmodernism. ha ha. well no, we don't know yet, we have to wait & look back in time. see i loved cronenberg's eastern promises, i think it's a future classic, but who knows? |
postmodernism killed my father.
|
but seriously, people are afraid to ask big questions. la dolce vita is huge-- who would dare to do such things these days? we're already post-cynical... and according to no country for old men, the last cowboy is a sociopathic murderer.
