Once again, I am lazy.

I want eggs for breakfast but there are on mother fucking eggs.

nicfit 08.07.2008 11:33 AM

it's not like you could lay some if you were not lazy.

EMMAh 08.07.2008 12:35 PM

Verdict: FICTION.
It's probably not even safe to follow a 1-second rule: The transfer of bacteria from a contaminated surface to food is almost instantaneous — or, at the very least, quicker than your reflexes. In a recent study, Clemson University food scientist Paul Dawson, PhD, and students contaminated several surfaces (ceramic tile, wood flooring, and carpet) with Salmonella. They then dropped pieces of bologna and slices of bread on the surfaces for as little as 5 seconds and as long as 60 seconds. After just 5 seconds, both food types had already picked up as many as 1,800 bacteria (more bad bugs adhered to the moisture-rich bologna than the bread); after a full minute, it was up to 10 times that amount.

Bottom Line: There are 76 million cases of foodborne illness annually in the United States, according to the CDC — so unless you're the only family on the block that sterilizes their floors on an hourly basis, you should refrain from eating dropped food. "Let's not forget what comes into contact with floors — people bring animal feces on their shoes into their homes," Dawson says. And don't assume that countertops are clean. Dawson's team also found that the Salmonella actually survived as long as 4 weeks on the test surfaces. As the recent tomato-related illnesses nationwide showed, "raw fruits and vegetables are as frequently the perpetrators of Salmonella transfer as poultry," Dawson says.

Fuck it, out of all the times I've eaten shit off the floor, I've never been sick.

Rob Instigator 08.07.2008 12:57 PM

yor stomach acid will kill most any bacteria or germ you pick up off the floor
nevermind the stupid shit.

punkaspoo 08.07.2008 01:01 PM

the really bad bacteria hides in dark and moist places

EMMAh 08.07.2008 01:19 PM

Seriously.

You'll never build immunities to germs if you never come in contact with them either. Germs are good for you in a weird way.

like how i had a grade school classmate with a germaphobe mother and i swear, he was programmed not to touch anything not doused in germ-x. poor kid got sick whenever he gave into the temptations of the playground.

Someone just downloaded "I Kissed A Girl" from me on Soulseek, and that was it.

Of all the songs I have, that's what they wanted.

Makes you think...

Poor kid :(

If I ever have children I'm going to let them roll in the fucking mud. Hell, they can eat it if they really want.

When I first saw this, I read "germaphobe" as "Germanphobe" :D "No, you may not play with the Kreisler kids. That lot statred the war, you know!"

acousticrock87 08.07.2008 03:50 PM

Haha. Germ-X. Cleans the German right off.

MellySingsDoom 08.07.2008 03:52 PM

"Destroys the Lebensraum in your living room."

EMMAh 08.07.2008 03:58 PM

So, I'm leaving to go sailing/camping in about an hour, and it's pouring fucking rain haha. My walkway is now a waterfall.

acousticrock87 08.07.2008 04:01 PM

The rain makes swimming 1000 times better. I can only imagine boating will be fantastic.

acousticrock87 08.07.2008 04:01 PM

Oh and camping? That, not so much...
