anyway, holy shit, the heaviosity explored in Thurston's recent cassette releases takes on an almost power-electronics bent... hellishly deranged... parts of it actually sound like a shrill dentist drill.. extremely impressive level of fervour, hard to believe it was achieved using a guitar...
so glad Toxic J recommended that I track it down the day before I hit Second Layer..
