I don't remember anything about the show musically, but I do remember speaking to Einar Orn in the bar before the show and him being a very nice guy.

make fun of him, but give the man some credit. believe me he is doing a good job compared to the mess we were used to. ______________________________ ![]() ever heard about this man? he forced my country to an autoritarian, conservative, tradicionalist, colonialist, nacionalist, anti-liberalist, anti-democratic and repressive dictatorial regime for 30 years !!! you dont find any other country in europe forced to a military dictatorship as long as this. can even imagine what something like this cause to a country? let me start with education education was not a priority, educational instruction was based on primary education (4 school years !) and it was not even mandatory. at school people learned this: ![]() "A Lição de Salazar", "salazar's lesson" wich consisted in three basic values GOD, FATHERLAND, FAMILY the picture says everything. you can see a rural house, a crucifix in what looks like some sort of an altar, through the window you can see a castle and the national flag, the husband coming home from work, the housewife is at home preparing the lunch for her husband and taking care of their children, one of the kids is wearing the portuguese youth uniform. salazar clearly saw education as threat to the values of his regime. i think everybody here knows how important education is. what to expect from something like this? the results: a submissive opressed rural country with huge illiteracy rates. culture? a joke. the people who got this education were the ones who would rule the country for the next 30 years. |
i speak portuguese, if that counts for anything
|
.we had colonial war for 13 years with huge costs for a small and fragile country.
.we had PIDE an organization similar to GESTAPO, used to repress society, using censorship etc. i could go on all day. so yeah we are a poor country etc. i just dont see what's so funny about it? people are dumb if they expect this place to be like a normal european country. |

make sure when you do it's brazillian portuguese. and not european portuguese |
