Only to find your wallet missing and your car sitting on cinderblocks when you left the show.

The way that all the regions love and respect one another so much, that's one of the wonderful things about Europe.

Danny Himself 09.05.2007 04:39 PM

I'm still really confused.

are you from the US or not? absolutely everyone in the ENTIRE WORLD has some kind of accent, even you. you don't notice it because it's part of your natural speech patterns but to people from other parts of the US or people from canada or england or wherever YOU HAVE ONE.

Rob Instigator 09.05.2007 04:50 PM

the "flat" american accent (or lack of one) you hear on movies and TV and in newscasters and such is a midwestern accent.
it is prized above all other american accents. you arrely hear a new york or boston or southern accvent on TV unless it is an oddball character

i have the flat american accent without the terrible exaggerations of speech such as "maaahm" instead of mom.

floatingslowly 09.05.2007 04:54 PM

trust me. I notice my accent, and I choose to disbelieve in it.

it's simply not there!

demonrail666 09.05.2007 07:11 PM

Getting back to the whole accents thing, I was once told I speak like Rodney from Only Fools and Horses. Which isn't exactly a confidence booster, I think you'll agree.

floatingslowly 09.05.2007 07:17 PM

seriously. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.

my accent is unnatural. I picked it up like a virus about 10 years ago.

a previous 10 years in Texas and I still sounded West Coast. 2 years in Oklahoma, and I'm a fucking hayseed.

revel in it, Euros. it NEVER gets THIS bad.
