Well, concerning the board situation, I'm agree with you. Maybe you should spend less on it. But I think we can have fun again. Don't be so pessimistic.

I think we need fresh blood on this board. People who 've registered the last 6 months don't post very often, it's a shame.

The board (any board actually) is going to be a bit intimidating for new folks. There are loads of established relationships and in-jokes, and any new person is just going to stare and think "how the hell do I get involved in this?", before deciding not to. It's like a new kid starting at a school that everyone else has already been at for three years. What we need to do is to find a way to make new folks feel more welcome without it becoming boring for those who are already here. I say we should start a committee to organise regular welcome events.

It's odd that the posters whinging are generally the ones who have little to contribute musically or else. Guys, if you want the internet to entertain you, don't forget that you are on it. Just sayin', like floatingslowly says.

I do miss Pookie when I'm here at work, because he's always been in my top 3 favourite posters chart. But life goes on.

Right, we should find something to implicate the new boarders in our "Brotherhood". Maybe we're not welcoming enough, I don't know how to improve that. Everytime I talk to a new boarder, I try to be as friendly as I am with other people.

I was on the old board for about two years before it closed, but I didn't post much. I was one of the intimidated at that point. Somehow that all changed with the introduction of the new board and I gained my confidence. Hands up who wishes I hadn't :)

Well, as for me, I spent my first days on this board reading and trying to understand how it worked, laughing at buzzo's jokes,... I didn't post very much. But I met kind people like Danny, screamin, Buzzo, Pookie, Nicfit, Synth, truncated... and they became my second family.

I hear that on the Dinosaur Jr board they have such lazy parents that their children are generally left unattended on other forums. Well, at least here Buzzo you won't find yourself up for adoption.

once again i am left at home drinking by my self because something has come up and my friend (its usualy one friend seeings as i have 3 here) can not make it out tonight, so now im sitting here on my own and slightly drunk. gah
