My, how things have changed. To think I never had any BJM LPs. How lame was gmku!?

i kinda felt like dig! stripped the band of any redeeming qualities...then i checked out a record out of curiosity and loved it.

I have a bunch of their LPs but the other night I got them back out and watched Dig! and thought I'd download the remaining albums of theirs that I don't own. They used to have them on their site for free and used to go on about how they wanted you to download them, but they appear to only be for sale now. Has Anton matured and realised he needs money to actually function and live?

In emails , Anton explains that it was a constant overflowing of threats to his wife and child that his free site was taken down .

There is a guy in googleworld that hosts MOST of their albums for free , if its of any help .

I think they're pretty damned great so I try to forget what I saw in Dig! about their personalities.

I also think people who like BJM owe it to themselves to check out the Dandy Warhols. Their albums are not as consistently great from start to finish but they do have some shining moments.

i still love dig..
the dandy warhols have some killer pop gems
but im still not sold on the bjm to be honest...all a bit to...mehphysical for me.

i've seen them shit loads of times, they've always been entertaining even if they didn't play that good

anton can be a dick (as i'm sure you've seen) but he's not really like that at all, certainly not all the time. he can be really sweet. he's just another one of those people who is misunderstood all the time and it's nice to see him really happy with katie (his wife)
