Actually I use it to post short private messages. Or when I totally agree with somebody, or I find something very funny, which is frequent.
But I don't care about my rank.
Sometimes we have fun with the "Who's the new king of the board"stuff, but less and less.

I stopped caring about it when I became the king of rep of the board. Really, I am, look. If you look closely, that symbol dude may be #1, but I am #0.

the board's software probably interprets this 24-hour rampage as you being drunk & saying "i loove you maaaaaaaaan" to everyone that crosses your path. it's probably a mechanism to save you from morning-after embarrassment.

I really should rep people more, everytime I want to rep demonrail I'm told I need to spread some around, even though I last repped demonrail probably in that Syd Barrett thread 3 monthes ago.
