SO yeah - accents.

Who's to say what's racist and what's not. What offends one person, won't affect another and blah, blah, blah...

I really suck at accents - even my own default Australian accent is shite. People keep thinking I'm from England (where exactly?) because they reckon I sound posh, but truly - my voice sounds like a mix between Jimi Hendrix, Kermit the Frog and a head trauma patient....

No. I mimic people's accents all the time and have never offended anyone. But there have been situations where I've seen people mimic offensively. You have to have a sense of appropriateness. If in doubt, don't do it.

I still hate that word.

Because it was offensive to asian people apparently.

I think it's ok if you're like recreating a scene that you witnessed. But if you're doing it to be racist then it is.
