My "go to" sauce is just regular old Pace Picante. Cheap and widely available. I use it in my scrambled eggs sometimes.

and that's why we love her (among other things).

Frank's is awesome because you can use a lot without it being overpowering.

I use hot sauce as a condiment more than salsa, but I love them both.
