I don't get Trompe le Monde, it is easily their worst one.

Trompe has been called Black's first solo LP. I guess he and the rest of the band were not getting along during the recording. Must be why there's not Kim vocals.

I haven't actually listened to Pixies for a long time, maybe I should pop on some of their records, maybe re-listen to their whole catalogue.

I got burned out on them in the early 90s because I listened to them all the time. I've just recently started listening to them again after about a 15-year gap.

Pixies' whole sound is really burnoutable.
