what's a transcode?

lets say I burnt you a CD using mp3s that were ripped at 192 kbps, then you uploaded that CD to your comp at, say, 320kbps. We both know that's not the true quality of it. Consequently, by creating lossy file types from other lossy file types, sound quality is lost

well, to listen to some song guess it's ok to "use" the image I posted :D ;) ... and then wait and buy the record when it comes out.

When I saw the pic I only thought about the "Rid of me lyrics" (Lick my legs I'm on fire...) and was wondering why "click" instead of "lick", I didn't take the click literally :o :D

Uh Her her is the best PJ Harvey album in my humble opinion. I hope she does something cool with this one.

I've heard White Chalk in perfect quality not transcode and you might as well buy a Tori Amos record. VERY quiet and not a big deal at all. No rockers on this one. No angst. Just a yawn fest. VERY disappointed! I've loved her madly for years and this one is officially the album where she jumps the shark. It could be over.

I got the DVD a few months ago. great stuff. I fucking love the fat riffs.

I have not been able to get into white chalk yet, but I am sureit will grow on me.
