Annoying that I'm only in Ireland but I can't use the I-player.

Although I'd forgo watching it if they'd just pop on the Ferry and come across to Dublin to play a show. Thurston used to live here for God's sake.

I managed to record this, but i wasn't at home to start the recording manually so i had to start recording early, so i have a few minutes of the programs before and after Jools. Can somebody recommend a program to edit .vob files? or do i need to convert the file to mpeg or avi first?? I could upload the whole file which is 1.18GB but i would like to cut out the other programs first, or maybe i'll leave this for greenlight to upload.

Hei Stu, there is no need to convert it. I use TMPGEnc Authoring Works 4 and it works pretty fine for it's price (yep, it's not free :().
Anyway, if you can upload it somehow, i can edit and author it as a DVD.

greenlight 04.29.2009 03:20 AM

just got DVD today. I'll watch it when I get home...can't wait.

it is up to you stu666. I probably make a DVD of it and make a torrent on purelivegigs, but first I want to wait till friday, coz workmate told me that it might be more songs on friday show. I try to record friday one as well. have to find someone who will record it for me, coz I have no dvd recorder. anyway, I am using Vegas pro...

if you convert it to AVI it would be just handier size wise (to share it here or on youtube...I would do that as well plust the torrent)...I need my two days off tho...haha.

sy2004 04.29.2009 05:03 AM

Special treat on the net is from the last time they played Jools - Sugar Kane in '92. Not that special of a treat considering it is all over youtube, but one of their best TV perfomances nonetheless.

audio: mp3, stereo, 22050 KHz, 96 kbps

mil_pl 04.29.2009 10:32 AM

nice performance, thanks a bunch.

nicfit 04.29.2009 10:37 AM

nice,thanks!
How the hell does Jools pronounce words??
he says "thank you vaginas" to depeche mode..ha.

random q:
on many tv appearances the sound of guitars is "switched"... I mean, Lee is on the right channel, Thurston on the left.
It's definitely not the first time I notice this, I wonder why...making them sound like you were looking at the stage would be much more "natural" imo.

mil_pl 04.29.2009 10:39 AM

he sucks, fat-peach-bourgeois-sucker.

wilffiv 04.29.2009 12:43 PM

HAHHAHAHAHAH

"One of the first shows EVER produced in NineteenFehshing"

nicfit 04.29.2009 01:11 PM

ha ha yes I wanted to point out that too but I didn't want to come off too rude/pretentious.

tanks vaginas made me laugh harder, though.
if that's how he speaks on a regular basis I bet he had lots of fun during these years insulting lots of guest knowing no one would understand his mumblings.

Derek 04.29.2009 01:15 PM

I tried to upload the performance to youtube but it came out all slow and out of sync. So maybe someone else should give it a go.

Remember to give some credit to greenlight and stu if you do hah.
