i have no idea how they're counting, what they're counting, but isn't the change of the prevalent age-group infected with the disease enough to draw a conclusion?

during normal seasonal influenza most hospitalizations occur among persons less than 2 years of age or 65 years of age or older - at least this is what i read on that journal.

this is different from what is being observed now, at least from what i recall reading on the press.

the story changed. typically, these types of flu kill people with healthy immune systems. the immunoresponse leads to a cascade
effect that ultimately kills them.

the swine flu should be killing 25-40 y/o's and not the young/old/infirm (where the bulk of the deaths are occuring).

there's an obvious attempt to scare the populace going on.

i'm not an apologist of panic, i'm not claiming to know the truth, all i'm saying is that it seems to be more to it, this isn't normal flu and something should be done about it.

I've heard an "expert", on TV, saying that the vaccine is less dangerous than the flu.
