So anyway, most of you know the kind of shit I like and his picks are pretty much identical to mine. He taught himself how to play guitar and writes his own material. He is wonerful with finger picking. Mostly he plays acoustic, but fucks around with the electric alot. He sings as well and sometimes I sing his back up vocals.

Don't judge his style by just 1 track, they all have different types of moods to them. So won't you please take a listen and tell me what you think? You will be our first feedback besides our families.

If you can't download them let me know. I am trying different sites to see what works best.

This is how "Walk With Me" is coming along. We have made some changes. Thanks to everyone on SYG for listening and giving us your thoughts and suggestions. They have been useful in our growth. This is still a bit of a rough version and a work in progress. I really just wanted to share our progress with everyone. I hope you ENJOY!

Reminded me a bit of Warn Defever (anyone remember him etc). I'd say it's a great song, but it's really difficult to get to the song with the production. The hiss is almost at the same level as the backing vocals. What are you recording on?

Sorry I can't be a bit more constructive - I know a lot of people like the lo-fi sound, but I feel that the production/ recording sort of masks the song; you can still keep the intimacy of the tune without necessarily having a million dollar recording, methinks.

Glice is nice.....I am a horible producer. Just workin with audio sound forge and an 8 year old computer for now. Our "studio" is a 8 x 9 room in our trouse (trailer house I made that up). Thanks again I know its a pain in the arse to download this shiznit;)

Ryan whipped this out of the air this morning. It has not been tweeked yet at all, but I really like the basic idea. I Don't think my production is any better on this one...but I'M LEARNIN:cool:

lo fi is something different, in this case you are somewhere around the noisefloor which degrades the overall sound AND atmosphere (despite what makes a good lo fi recording: the enhancement in atmosphere.)
