Marcos, check out HONEY RIDE ME A GOAT.. http://www.myspace.com/hrmag .. one of the best bands I saw, like I said, and supernice dudes, talked to 'em for a long time, discussed maybe doing a music video or a split in the future.

I love how the crowds look in fast motion at Lightning Bolt shows.

if you watch that video there's a dude who kinda looks like crypto haha he was the one who was unplugging the cables on every song and shit. he acted like an idiot. there were like 5 or 6 dudes clearly on meth or something. some dude had his mouth open with his tongue sticking all the way out the entire show. weird looking dude.

She and her boyfriend are super nice. Great people. If i knew they knew you, i'd definitely would have asked.

I'll check them out.

I just talked to her for the first time two weeks ago, when we talked about her show. I am going to record some scissor shock stuff and try to get that on the show too.I am going to edit some of the curse words from my short films and have em put those on too. Still.. blaze on tv! Isn't that crazy? They posted it on vimeo already.

Congratulations Adam. Right on!

PS: I haven't been here in like a fucking year and still have to spread some rep around before giving to Adam.

wow, thanks dude!

some height points:
Richard Youngs doing a accapale set in a church
Trumans Water playing in a way to hip indieclub but still making it the best 'noisy rock' show I saw in ages,
Joanna Newsom at a operea house
the Punch/Comedra twopack
Melt Banana live in a ultimate sweaty garagebox like venue

that it is i guess.

When I went to see Richard Youngs earlier this year, he played two beautiful songs, another few I wasn't into, and the rest of the gig was all pop songs, including a cover of Erasure. No kidding. You should have seen the faces in the crowd, including those wankers that were sitting by the stage.

Genteel Death 11.27.2010 02:10 PM

Oh me and my friend got told off by some hippie because we were dancing.

SuperCreep 11.27.2010 02:14 PM

god, i can't think of a gig i went to this year that was anything less than great. i'm going to go with swans as of now, but einsturzende neubauten on dec. 15th have a chance of beating that one.

Same crowd reaction here to a 45-55 minutes accapala set, after every song people would leave in large groups till their where only 20 people reaming of the around 120 there. He is a great artist for just improvising his gigs allot so you never get the same concert or show twice. Might be a thick one to bite through but he does nearly everything with enough flair to make it work
