Sky Piolts, fuck what was that game called. I loved that game, it was a really early SNES game.

I have no idea what that is. Here is the game I've wanted to post all day, thanks Krastian for the tip, worked perfectly.

This thread is so much harder than I expected. Did anyone play the less obscure games, like Earthbound or NARC? How bout this one:

pokkeherrie 08.10.2006 07:51 PM

Ha, that's the first one I recognise... Super Mario Bros.

I can never relate to these threads either because I never had any video game consoles... but I can't be the only one here who used to have and MSX2, right? Even though I don't think that ever really took off outside of Japan and a few countries in Europe (Philips for instance made them too).

One of my favourite MSX games (along with Metal Gear, Kings Valley, Usas, Vampire Killer and just about any other game made by Konami):

So do I. Easily one of my favorite games.

Toilet & Bowels 08.10.2006 08:30 PM

i downloaded a ROM of earthbound but kept getting killed in the town where you start, i think it might have been the cops who killed me. i've sort of been meaning to retry it as it's a game i've heard nothing but high recommendations for.

nomadicfollower 08.10.2006 09:26 PM

Yeah, I do remember the cops being rather tough. You have to fight 5 or 6 in a row, right?
Once you get past that, the game (for me at least) wasn't very hard at all. And it gets alot more interesting.

finding nobody 08.10.2006 09:29 PM

yeah that part aint easy. you just have to level up enough before the fight to beat em

acousticrock87 08.10.2006 09:45 PM

There was a sequel/prequel to Earthbound that I think is supposed to be released here in a combo pack with the original, because it never made it across the seas. Maybe it was already released? Don't remember what system though - probably GBA or DS, I'd imagine. Admittedly, I never got that far in the original. I just really liked what I played of it.
