Chill out, man. Why are you a vegan? It's better that someone's aware of environmental issues just a little bit then not giving a fuck at all, isn't it? Being a vegan or a vegetarian doesn't make you a better person than someone else. Until you can say that you do absolutely no harm to any living being, and you live in a house that uses no dirty energy, and you eat entirely organic food, and that yr helping other people reach those same goals yr in no position to say that yr better than anyone else, and once you've reached that point, one would hope that you've realized why yr doing these things in the first place and you wouldn't have any desire to look down upon other living beings. That's just my opinion

They're all valid concerns, of course, but apart from personal liberty I think education and poverty need to be tackled urgently.

I'd mention crime, too, which isn't listed, as crime (and the fear of crime) is massively damaging to society.

I've thought about becoming a vegan, but then I'd have to go around stepping on bugs to even out all the life-saving I'd be doing. Too much work.
