Audacity is good free one, no?

that's what I use! Audacity + fruityloops works really well

I could never figure out how to work (the demo of) fruity loops.

The idea that i had was that the whole thing could be turned into a compilation of some sort but how do you organize something like that on a music forum?There should definately be some sort of co-ordinator or fights would ensue.

Thanks. It is an odd bass drum + snare drum pattern I thought of. Maybe later I will record the song I use it on in the correct BPM and all and show you how it works with it.
