I have no problem with it but I hardly ever find anything that I like and which fits. Coats I have bought second hand many a time but mainly from army surplus places because you at least get a range of sizes.

I would have to agree that armpit smell can be impossible to remove in things that have been worn a lot. I have tshirts that smell like a mixture of sweat and deoderant even after washing.

A bit of mild bleach should sort you out. Go careful if the item isn't white though.

Oh god, do I. Most of my clothes, shoes, jewelry & belts are thrifted, and the majority cost me less than two dollars a piece. I got this kick-ass coat the other day that cost me less than my school lunch.

Sweet! Second-hand coats always rock. I got this cadet/army style jacket from value village..$2.99! It's super small, though...

That sounds like the best shirt ever!

I prefer to buy my clothes second hand. I'm cheap.

Towelie always says to keep your eye out for good deals on towels at the second hand stores!

Wanna get high?

luxinterior 11.27.2006 08:12 PM

Yeah, I buy a lot of second-hand clothes. I don't have a problem with knowing that someone else has worn them. I figure whatever those people did to their clothes, it can't possibly be as disgusting as what I do to mine. And I am always taking my own used clothes to Goodwill. So it's like a trade.

EMMAh 11.27.2006 08:45 PM

Yup, not all my clothes are but I most of them :)

I used to buy a lot of clothes from thrift stores when I was in high school, but I haven't bought any recently. You can find a lot of awesome/funny shirts there.
