Hahah. Sleeping Around is Terrible. I'm not sure how it even made an album. But, I think I mark the songs on Ripped hard, just because I'm not a fan of the album as a whole, it's just so un-sonicyouth-like and it kind of shocked me, but some songs held up a good part.

Sleeping Around is indeed terrible. It's not even relevant to Thurston, as a married man.

I like that song (even if there's something awkward about it indeed - the too direct reference to Joy Division's Transmission maybe), the guitars remind me of Jeff Buckley's Nightmare by the sea.

This is my least favourite on the album. It was actually their first song where i though, oh god!

You said it! The Machina II version is one of my favorite SP songs. I even put it on the mix I gave to my wife when we first met.

Production on Machina was so terrible, ruined the Pumpkins for me.
