Hm, I dunno about no shit parts.

Here's my list of bad Radiohead songs:
Most of Pablo Honey
Most of the bends
Electioneering
Fitter, Happier (if that counts)
Pull/Pulk like sardine cans blah blah
Dollars and Cents
Morning Bell (Amnesiac version)
Drunken Punch Up at a Wedding
Backdrifts
Go to Sleep
Scatterbrain
All of In Rainbows

Unwound has a catalog which I can find little to no fault.

What? Nobody has said New Kids on the Block?

Just kidding. Though I might get slammed for saying The Police. 5 great albums and they quit before they degenerated.

Crimson is a great band and of course I like SY but for the most consistent, best set of music--its gotta be The Police.

SLAM.

I've listened to the whole new New Kids on the Block album.

They played it over the radio at work.

It's weird.

Note that in red I have highlighted the ones that I disagree with.

And Pulk/Pull is one of my favourite Radiohead songs.

A Wolf at the door / We suck young blood / Dollars and Cents must be the ultimate song failure combo by Radiohead.

atsonicpark 09.03.2008 06:52 AM

You really like Drunken Punch Up at a Wedding? Hm. That's one of the worst songs I've ever heard any band write ever.

To each their own, man!

I really like "We suck young blood"... it's a boring song but it's structurally pretty interesting.

Wolf at the Door fails after the opening. I love the almost medieval sound of the music at the beginning but after that.. fuck all.

_slavo_ 09.03.2008 06:53 AM

punch up is very bad, too, you're right.

Kallisti23chaos 09.18.2008 12:36 AM

The Beatles- "i like the way money feels"

uhler 09.18.2008 12:50 AM

minor threat

repeater 09.18.2008 01:31 AM

Fugazi, the Velvet Undergound and MC5

atsonicpark 09.18.2008 01:44 AM

red transistors
the normal

Both bands only have 2 songs ever. And they both rule. So, they have a perfect catalogue.

Sonic Youth is definitely on my list...but I'd probably put bands/artists like Dylan, The E. Street Band, R.E.M. and Tom Petty/The Heartbreakers ahead of them.

By this logic:

The Unicorns.

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 09.18.2008 06:17 PM

I'd probably have to go with sonic youth.

All of their albums are good to great, a half of them are fucking awesome, and a few are among my favorite albums of all time.

Hm, not trying to disagree Hayden since I really like them, but Unicorns had a full length and 2 EP's, at least. They probably had 20 songs or so. So, it's not really fitting in with my "bands with only 2 [great] songs ever" thing. Though I realize you're saying that you think everything they've done is perfect, so yeah.

Unicorns are great.

There you go. I agree. How could it not be so? And the various hipper-than-thous should know by now where I suggest they cram it.

SuchFriendsAreDangerous 09.19.2008 05:17 PM

atari, you of all people should have been able to appreciate my suggestion, I am surprised!

canabero 09.20.2008 11:35 PM
