Because the b-sides of that era are gold, too.

Pity. The remastering on it trumps the original. :7(

they were kind of popular in england werent they? but they wouldnt let them in under that name so they changed it to jerico jones. i havent listened to them in ages. amazing band |

they only time that i dont like bonus tracks is when they put them before the album and not after. like with the fall's grotesque-pay your rates is song for. and on perverted by language, eat yrself fitter is also like song five. with the velvet undergrounds boxset they put all the original albums sanwiched between many bonus tracks which seems to be annoying. |

Pretty sure I read somewhere that "Chance Meeting...." was getting a deluxe vinyl reissue at some point. I think on the Dirter website maybe. |
i've got maggot brain on CD, i'd be surprised if it was out of print

silver sessions rerelease!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reissues of all the stuff that High Rise released in tiny editions on La Musica would make me very happy. I nearly bought a 10 CDR bootleg box set on ebay once, and I now know that not having done so was (for me anyway) a really really dumb thing to have done.
|
everything on la musica should be reissued, and for reasonable prices
|
i would like a re-issued single of the count five's 'psychotic reaction'.
|
Plastic People of the Universe!!!
|
Just thought of one, thanks to Rob I. Urge Overkill's Saturation. On vinyl. That would be cool.
& Liz Phair's Exile in Guyville on vinyl. |

I have that and always end up listening to the original album and ignoring the rest. I don't really see the point. |

I think that there was a now out of print reissue of that at one point. |
Quote:
that'd be really cool. pm on your way. |
I'd like to see the Count Psychotic Reaction LP reissued. On vinyl.

Ha ha ha. Which means that it is eligible for a reissue, no? Out of print reissues are no good if they're no longer in print. |

And your point being? |
You go first. What was your point?

+1 from me on this. |
The first two albums of Venom P. Stinger plus the "Walking About" single should be reissued. Great Aussie psych-damaged "punk" with a mutant-blues streak swerving through it. Two members of Dirty Three involved.
An Aussie label was supposed to be issuing a CD of both albums and the single, but I never heard anything more since a few years ago when it was mentioned. I'd buy it on CD but would especially love to see it on vinyl. When you see this vid of them... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSlgFbgK1rw ...you will know what I'm talking about. The first three Feedtime LPs on vinyl would be great to see, too. |
Here's another Venom P. Stinger video from the same era...

Melvins ELECTRORETARD. Still one of my favorites of theirs.
|
Not the Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds back catalogue - which is a shame, seeing as their being reissued is exactly what is about to happen. Two CD sets of all the albums, including surround sound mixes and b-sides from the period. Woo-hoo... Just what the Nick Cave fan who already has all the albums and the b-sides and rarities set needs.

and be actual cds (or vinyl) in reasonable quantities. Quote:
i recently read that something by them was issued/reissued somewhere. ohh found it! tearbucketer on slitbreeze, i don't think that was what you were talking about so carry on. |
