actually, the sonic youth board got blocked by my fucking work's internet filter because of pornography. :mad:

the numerical address still works (for how long?) but i can no longer risk venturing into the non-sonics section from work, because if there's someone posting porn there, then it likely blocks the entire site for me...

on the plus side that means no more time-wasting at work, but it also means i'd no longer have any acces to the sy site at all. not safe for work warnings at the top of the page won't help; once the page has loaded then the damage is already done.

so no, i don't approve of the porn here... although if it wasn't for that stupid filter thing then i guess i'd be indifferent.

I find it puerile rather than offensive, but, hey, kids get their kicks from trying to offend people, it's always been that way. They've probably only just got past the stage of saying "willies" in front of their mothers.

The problem I have with it is that I'm another one who logs on at work and doesn't really want to get sacked for viewing pornography on the internet.
