Cantankerous 08.26.2006 06:31 PM

yes it is my name.

Cantankerous 08.27.2006 12:23 AM

i fucking touched thurston moore. he is my type.

wax 08.27.2006 12:38 AM

oh yeah, i didnt mention that one, and its soo imprtant.
i cant stand the girls who waer loads of make up and designer clothes. the ones who force themselves to endure painful shoes so they can look better.
i dont think they look better anyway. basicaly superficial girls.
i hate too much makeup

Cantankerous 08.27.2006 12:39 AM

makeup is lame. i have raccoon eyes already without it.

acousticrock87 08.27.2006 01:24 AM

I sort of agree, but it's tough to judge someone outright with that. As much as I hate Hollister with all my heart, I've judged people incorrectly because they wear it. So I try to be lenient with that.

krastian 08.27.2006 01:59 AM

He has to rock, not piss me off, have at least pretty good style, and share a similar sense of humor with me.....no specific type really. Dark hair is always a plus though.

krastian 08.27.2006 02:10 AM

That's the rumor......I have all my papers.

acousticrock87 08.27.2006 02:14 AM

You get papers, too? Man you guys get all the perks. I always have to convince people that I'm straight.

static-harmony 08.27.2006 02:15 AM

I thought I was gay for a while, not after my experience.

luxinterior 08.27.2006 02:46 AM

This is hard. I hate guys who are loudmouths and who curse a lot for no apparent reason. I don't like being around people who try to shove all of their interests in my face as if everything they like is far more important than the things I enjoy. I admire people who don't always have to talk about themselves in terms of what they like, because as long as they are passionate about something, it usually doesn't matter so much what it is. And there are so many other things to talk about anyway. I find that I get on well with people who at first seem a little shy and reserved, and not so in-your-face. I like people who are secure with who they are, as well as their interests and opinions, and aren't embarrassed by any of it. Loyalty and respect mean a lot to me.

I'm not sure about looks. Mostly I am pretty flexible when it comes to that, although I don't understand blonde guys. As far as the face goes, I like big noses. I don't necessarily like good-looking faces as much as I like expressive and interesting faces. Some people's looks just bore me because they look like everyone else. They're not bad-looking people, they're just one of many, many more like them. I'm seeing that a lot now in college. I've been meeting people here and I just can't tell any of them apart.

Yeah I think that's something that isn't taken as seriously as it should be. I don't really understand why "bad taste" is reason enough to dislike someone. If a girl is intelligent, witty, funny, independant, blah blah blah, but listens to some embarassing band or group or wears some kind of ridiculous clothes or has some nerdy hobby - it's seen as a flaw. But if she can openly display that, knowing the criticism that it's going to bring, it's really security and self-confidence. It's just entertainment, and people enjoy different kinds. The important factor is whether they can be honest about themselves with it.

Scrawny or chubby, good music taste, and (more-than) slightly mentally retarded.

Arty girls with taste and brains, cutting wit a huge plus.
Physically, I have a pretty wide range of appreciation regarding body types, but tend to favor slightly heavier girls with dark or red hair. Goth girls have also been imprinted as an ideal of sexiness for decades for me, but the music that passes for "goth" now is irritating as hell to me, and the amount of makeup involved sometimes makes it difficult to see what someone really looks like.
I like glasses, I like shorter hair generally speaking.
And I like big butts and I cannot lie.

Ya, I figure this board may tend to lean more towards that, but you know what I mean. My ex was a hardcore gamer, and she was hot. I fear I may never find another like her. Especially not one that would fall for me. Oh, the tragedies of life...

Style 08.27.2006 02:37 PM

I've been with all types, except one. The stereotypical rock girl, maybe I'll find her one day.

Not making this up,are we?

Danny Himself 08.27.2006 02:57 PM

I didn't really know what I wanted until I found it. Smart, caring, just a childish enough to get along with me.

Tokolosh 08.27.2006 03:11 PM

That is so sexy!

Sheriff Rhys Chatham 08.27.2006 09:25 PM

I dont have types. As long as yr not a bitch then yr cool. Oh yeah, and abusers suck, also depressed people.

porkmarras 08.27.2006 09:26 PM

I'm always suspicious of people who like star trek.

Toilet & Bowels 08.27.2006 09:31 PM

oh come on, star trek is great to watch when you are bored or have nothing to do.

porkmarras 08.27.2006 09:38 PM

I'm not a fan of it or of people who go on about star trek being the best thing ever. But then taste is different from person to person.I managed a 2 year relationship with someone who adored dead can dance so everything is possible.

Toilet & Bowels 08.27.2006 09:44 PM

i've never listened to dead can dance, and i'm not a fan of star trek i just like to indulge from time to time. but quite a lot of girls i know seem to go into spasms at the very thought of watching such things.

porkmarras 08.27.2006 09:54 PM

Really?Why?

LifeDistortion 08.27.2006 09:59 PM

I don't want to date any more girls with depression problems. I dated a girl manic tendencies for nearly two years and its all just unecessary drama and unwanted craziness, and nothing you seem to do to make things better for them seems to matter.

i don't see what's wrong with doing any of those things.

as for girls, girls who can dance are hot.

acousticrock87 08.27.2006 10:39 PM

The only thing I don't like about Star Trek is that it's far too deep and established to "jump into." I've seen half an episode and had no idea what was going on. I have vague memories of it being on when my grandma babysat when I was little. She loves Star Trek.

It's not necessary to me for a girl to have nerdy hobbies, but it's certainly more enjoyable. As long as she's actually into it, and not just into it because she thinks guys are into it. I've seen that with stuff like Star Wars on occassion. "Oh ya, I love Star Wars! That little blue and white robot is so cute!"

static-harmony 08.27.2006 11:26 PM

I wish I could find a girl who could be spontenaous and a joker like me. And doesn't think what people are going to say.

alyasa 08.27.2006 11:26 PM

Star Wars!

you should start dating "the Pipettes" ;)

my type:
redhead with green eyes and funny/black hair blue eyes kinda evil (no reference to truncated).
one of the most important thing, she has to understand when it's ok NOT TO SPEAK.i end up "hating" girls who can't stop talking, even if you have absolutely no will to share some thoughts/words with them.

Hey your Boyfriend looks cute, dont listen to them! And im saying that as a straight male! To be honest I thought it was a picture of Ville Valo from HIM when i first saw it!

Anyways I kinda like the Rock Chick/Art girl type, she has to be cute and cuddly, bubbly but have interlect. Someone you can talk to! What is it about a girl with Black Eyeliner that is so irrisistable :)

yeah, i don't actually care if girls actually like that stuff or not, but what i find attractive is when girls don't care if other people think they're a bit of a spazz.

i fucking hate scenesters

i like fair skinned girls with a very good sense of fashion.
nothing is hotter than a girl in designer outfits.
mmm...
they must keep tidy and be properly dressed for whatever the occasion.
i like all hair colors.
i like short, medium, and tall girls.
i like a girl with a bit of meat on her bones, i do not mind ultra skinny girls though.
there must be something unique about her, she must be somewhat mysterious.
not sneaky, but mysterious.
i like a girl that can keep to herself
i dont like girls who open up to you when you first meet.
you know?
she needs to get to know you first before she opens up to ya.
she must enjoy or appreciate music, art, or film.
i dont mind if she is a bit shy, but i dont like super shy girls.
