technically '91 TYPB, but since everyone here has probably seen that I might as well go with:

Man on Wire.

It's about the guy who walked on a tightrope across the empire state buildings. pretty damn good movie, see it if you get the chance

That is an awesome movie. I love his enthusiasm for what he does.

I heard an interview of him once on NPR; the guy never watches TV. I'm positive there is a link between that and how much he is able to get done in a day.

we knew this was going to be awful when we rented it, but we were at least hoping for hilariously awful. it was just... boring. too much talking and plot, not enough people being CGI'd to bloody bits.

Pretty grim stuff, though you do get see Mick Jagger as a drag queen, which is just bizarre.

I've probably watched Gore Gore Girls more than any horror movie ever, aside from Dead Alive and Night Train to Terror (and Psycho Cop 2, but that's more of a comedy).

le petit soldat...least favorite godard film that ive seen. and i showed my roomate and his girlfriend wild at heart for their first time...i love doing that to people.
