I can't wait till Electric Lady drops.. This single is that hot shit. This is when
art-rap works. Fantastic! As always, I don't think an artist has been this
genuinely creative and into making music videos since Kurt Cobain

No, I haven't made an order yet. How does it compare? Oh fuck I'm so goddamn anxious to get my hands on that comic book, as I never did get the deluxe edition of the original.

Tell me about it.

Oh, by the way? I've been forced to reorder the Kanye albums. Still listening to Yeezus like crazy, and I've decided where it fits in my "best to worst" (not that there's really a "worst"). Observe:

1. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
2. Graduation
3. Yeezus
4. 808s & Heartbreak
5. Late Registration
6. The College Dropout (sorry, but he's just come so far... This sounds almost ordinary at this point)

this is pretty much my list too, though 1&2 MIGHT get swapped.

oh and Watch The Throne would be above 808s.

Hmm... I dont think of WTT as a proper Ye album, and I wouldn't include it (or GOOD music) in a Kanye albums list, but maybe I should.

If I did, I'd have to rethink the whole damn thing! Such a great album. Pivotal.

i love The College Dropout so much. Spaceship, Breathe In Breathe Out, Through the Wire - all fantastic songs.

Public Enemy: 'Jay Z, Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar aren't hip-hop'

"I think the element of hip-hop left when rap music started being created on a slow tempo," claimed Flavor Flav. "It's just stayed there for years. Right now, a lot of rap music today is being created at very low tempos.

"There's no more of that 'Wave your hands in the air like you just don't care' - you know, something that makes you wanna get out there and breakdance," he added. "Rap music has lost that element right now, mainly over in America. There's not too many great hip-hop records out there, but there are some great rap records. Lil Wayne is making some great rap records, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Ludacris, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, Snoop [Dogg] - everybody is making great rap records, but it's not hip-hop."

His bandmate Chuck D, meanwhile, said: "If you love hip-hop, ask yourself why. We've done it around the world for 26 years in 90 countries and we have our reasons - but we think it should be along the lines of Bob Marley, Bob Dylan and Bobby Womack. It should be able to cover all aspects. When it's just about 'I got money and you don't have money', that's just taking advantage of the naivety of people."

Haha. See what that mainstream will do ya? Get you into a polemic debate with your partner and everythan!!

I would just like to put it rest, not only is Jay-Z NOT Hip-Hop, that ninja can't even rap. Evidence, exhibit (a)

Dude, what is he mumbling there? Incoherent babble like he just had a stroke yo!

Rob Instigator 07.30.2013 01:48 PM

Jay Z and Kanye are the new MC Hammer's.

SuchFriendsAreDangerous 07.30.2013 02:42 PM

apparently somebody tried to transcribe Jay-Z's part down and mistakenly call them "lyrics", it makes even less sense reading it then trying to listen to him Sanford and Son mumble mouth through that shit. Poor Justin Timberlake, that ninja ruined his otherwise fly jam!
