i have a book called how how to do just about anything (but it's from the '80s so i'm positive that that title is wrong now) that has a whole 30 pages on sewing. it rocks.

the essay topic was modern histories call Alexander "Alexander the Great", argue why or why not Alexander's father, Philip should or should be called "Philip the Great" I basically just stated that Philip's actions and triumphs were extremely minor compared to Alexander's and that he was put a jumping off point for the Macedonian Kingdom

The middle ages in Europe was a big part of my Western Civ class, the whole social/religious structure is baffling. There's not logic to it, just divine mandate and war for war's sake.
