This one seems a bit more like journalism than art and I didn't do a lot of photoshop on it, so I'll post it here instead of the "art" thread...

EMMAh 02.05.2008 02:01 PM

I see the last one Nicfit posted but not the first two, and I don't see the dead turtle.

Nicfit, did you find that on the ground or put it there?

Incesticide 02.08.2008 10:26 AM

I took a lot of pics this afternoon. Now I use a cheap camera, it look like this :

I found it in a second hand store last week. I use Kodak 400 film.

I've found this one in my garage :

But it don't work good.

I'd like to buy an Holga or an Lomo Fisheye, they looks so cool.

I have the Fisheye, it's super fun. I was thinking of getting a Holga but I think I'm going to get a Diana+ instead.

thanks, glad you like them.
I haven't developed them myself, unfortunately.
The darkroom i had access to got closed and then they threw away all the equipment and set up a silk-screen studio.

Yeah, the camera is awesome.
I highly recommend these Kodak Retinettes, they're pretty cheap, too.

What the hell, a darkroom is way better than a silk screen studio. But, I guess the times are changing eh? As shitty as that is haha.
How much did you get this camera for?

didn't buy it myself. My brother gave it to me because he stole my old Canon AE to take pics of planets and the universe and all that stuff. He mounted it on his telescope and then broke it.

I saw Retinettes go away for under 10€.

That was a shitty thing for him to do, but at least he replaced it :D
I have no idea how much 10€ is but I'll believe you that it's cheap haha.

This was a big abandoned house. I didn't go inside because I think it's quite dangerous.

Awww you should have! It can be freaky because you don't know what to expect but if you're careful. I go in this abandoned house at my grandparent's but I just don't go on the 2nd floor cause it's not worth falling through. Falling through the 1st floor wouldn't be that bad though haha.
Bring a friend and go in next time! I want to see more pictures.

nicfit 02.18.2008 04:42 PM

again (I already said that somewhere), bring TWO friends. One might not be enough to take you out of some hole in the floor or something... better yet if they weigh as you (so, if someone falls, the other 2 shouldn't have problems getting him out of troubles)

Magublafix 02.18.2008 05:02 PM

I called this one "BadMoonRising" ;)

nope. it was on the other side of a small canal in Venice (those are steps that go straight into the canal where there are supposed to be boats "parked").
