I saw Tulsi Gabbard talk at a rally a couple of years ago and I thought she was impressive. I would be happy to see her as VP. Or Warren.
What I really want though is for AOC to by be installed as dictator for life ✊ |
T&B has the right idea.
Wouldn't mind a Bernie-Warren or Bernie-Tulsi ticket. Sounds quite good. I'd prefer Tulsi because she's stronger on foreign policy than Bernie so he would need someone who knows more in that area.
A Bernie-Warren ticket just doubles up on the same base. Tulsi would extend it into areas that I think neither Bernie or Warren could reach, either apart or together.
Yeah i think Bernie Tulsi is better, and then Warren should run in 2024 (Bernie does 4 years then retires). AOC will then take over from Warren and be declared dictator for life and then clone herself for eternity.
Elon Musk needs to get a move on with his SpaceX programme, cos I wanna be as far away from the action as possible if AOC gets anywhere near the White House.
What's your beef with Cortez?
I'm not evading the question, I just really don't know where to start. I honestly wonder if I've ever seen a more ill-informed politician in my life. Maybe Sarah Palin ... maybe. Every time AOC opens her mouth about anything I just get the impression she really really doesn't have the 1st clue what she's talking about.
...and yet she's already setting herself up for her eventual presidency. She's charismatic, knows her way around the media, and has a stack of fans (some of whom are on board with her politics, some of whom are just thirsty [yes, this is a subpost]).

Seriously? Have we been watching the same person speak? To me, AOC seemed pretty damn well-informed so far. She's invigorating, charismatic and quite obviously a fighter. She's already proved that when she beat Crowley. And given the sometimes petty and unsubstantiatedly hostile coverage she gets, she's had some awesome comebacks and sick burns. AOC has a bright future ahead of her. I don't know if this will ever lead to the presidency(preconceived notions and unfavorable characterization tend to stick sometimes, unfortunately), one can dream though. Either way, she's gotten far already and will get even further in her career. |

I'm never gonna say Trump doesn't have a limited grasp of world politics but I wouldn't even put him in the same league as AOC

Definitely not. She's streets ahead of Mad Donald ;) |
If it's not just politics then what is it?

He was still smart enough to remain a player in the highly competitive world of real estate for a few decades and come out of it a multi-billionaire. Then he faced down hostility within his own party, the full force of the Dems and widespread media ridicule to become President. No one's ever gonna claim he's the cleverest man ever to enter politics but I certainly wish I was as stupid as that.

he inherited his little empire, and then learned some dirty tricks in the 70s and 80s from roy cohn. he went bust repeatedly, even after his dad bailed him out—repeatedly. he survived only because his creditors thought he was worth more as a name and brand than by partitioning his assets. so his business really is self-promotion, and makes money off his image through licensing deals.
