Trasher02 05.28.2007 04:19 AM

I will steal that Jazzmaster.
I love the colours.

soapbars 05.28.2007 07:00 AM

king_buzzo 05.28.2007 07:01 AM

Ahhhh CHOUT, is that a hot rail I spot in the Mustang? Get it out Get it out for gods sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Danny Himself 05.28.2007 07:18 AM

Nice guitars, chout. They're not abused-looking enough for my liking, though.

I wanna get a white jazz soon.

king_buzzo 05.28.2007 07:23 AM

Mini-Humbuckers are for pussies.

Let me rephrase, Humbuckers are for pussies.

Did that come from J's mouth or something?

king_buzzo 05.28.2007 12:54 PM

No. I know he said it, but I agree. I dont like the output and the suckage of feedback. And they're not noisy at all and they sound dull.

Mini humbuckers are even worse. Change it, right now. I'll fly down there and smack you.

CHOUT 05.28.2007 12:58 PM

Bring it on, punk.

I like single coils more that buckers (that bucker in the 'stang sounds just like a single coil with less noise), but they all have their place somewhere...

king_buzzo 05.28.2007 01:05 PM

I guess it depends on music.

CHOUT 05.29.2007 01:36 AM

I like the Jag, but those mij pickups are pretty sucky...damn screechy unmusical microphonic feedback.

Yeah, I've had that problem. I just run the feedback through a blue box and a wah and then it's fine.

CHOUT 05.31.2007 02:13 AM

I'm selling my Turbo Rat and sold my Little Big Muff to my friend to fund more BYOC pedals...I just ordered the chorus that I'm gonna mod to have a vibrato switch.

max 05.31.2007 09:11 AM

we've had a raw experience with byoc pedals, a friend of ours did a big muff clone for our bass player, the thing almost fell in pieces, costed him 55 euros and in the end had lots of problems. the sound in itself was even cool, but it's totally unreliable. his getting it changed with a custom made wood shell for 2 lousy plastic pedals he has...

Hmm, that sucks. But it seems like a thing where they're sturdy if you build it carefully. Mine are very solid.

I read a Kevin Shields/ J. Mascis interview where J. Mascis gave all young guitar players the advice to never use humbuckers. Since then I've taken all of his opinions with a grain of salt.

CHOUT 06.04.2007 11:26 PM

welcome back julian, where have you been...oh wait you may have still been around and I just haven't been looking at a lot of threads

I just put a green LED in my Mighty Mouse today...all my byoc pedals are gonna be different colors...the chorus and large beaver are on the way.

CHOUT 06.06.2007 10:42 PM

I just ordered a Behringer Vibrato from activemusician.com, the only place that seems to have them yet.
