yesterday saw diggers (does the poster show?)

and also the illusionist

not bad! both of them. not mind-blowing but competent, each in their own way.

PAUL GIAMATTI needs to stop playing a variation of the same character in every movie.

Silent Dan Speaks 08.06.2007 11:43 PM

I normally don't watch movies on tv, but Easy Rider was on, and I love that movie. "We blew it," has to be one of the best lines ever.

Classic.

total-trash 08.06.2007 11:44 PM

Good god I love Platoon.

Tokolosh 08.07.2007 02:36 AM

Quite nice. Penelope Cruz must have had fun doing this one.

toko, i loved that bigas luna movie-- and i like "la teta y la luna" even better, but i've lost track of the guy in recent years.

I saw Hot Fuzz last night. It was alright...

I'm going to watch Y Tu Mamá También tonight if I have the time. Maybe tomorrow.

PAULYBEE2656 08.07.2007 12:33 PM

i saw the simpsonsmovie last night. yeah it was funny. bit of a dissappointment really. ive been looking forward to it for nearly a decade now and when i saw it it was meh, ok, it was fine.....

also saw shrek the third, not a patch on the 2 previous, too much prince charming! wanker!!

as you can tell. ive been bringing my kids to the pics a bit.

I fucking DESPISE that horrid wankery!
The single most pointless and boring movie I have ever seen.
I turned it off after an hour.

horrible horrible horrible.

Rob Instigator 08.07.2007 12:50 PM

Easy Rider is boring as all fuck as well. I don't see why people praise it. It is dull, slow, meaningless bullshit disguised as a road trip into the heart of america. stupid fucking hippie shit.

Danny Himself 08.07.2007 12:54 PM

American Splendor, for the second time. Still good.

Everyneurotic 08.07.2007 12:56 PM

i saw battle royale on tv yesterday, well at least the last hour of it, but i saw it on TV!!!

i loved it.

Danny Himself 08.07.2007 12:59 PM

that's the reason i was surprised to see it on tv, who could broadcast it?

Silent Dan Speaks 08.08.2007 02:16 AM

Night of the Living Dead. I enjoyed it, but it was sort of goofy at times. It was also the only horror movie I've ever seen with an intelligent black guy.

One man's meat is another man's cock. :D

I didn't expect to read that from you, seeing that you love art and all.
Greenaway is far from pointless and boring. More like genius.

Haven't seen La Teta y la Luna. Heard it's good though. The only other film I've seen of his is Huevos de Oro which was great.

You won't believe where I watched Jamón, jamón. On MTV of all channels.
They have this new thing now, where they show four films in a month at ten o'clock on Monday evenings.
No ad's in between, which surprised me. I missed the first three because I never watch that tripe.

I need to see more of his films for sure.
