people say that. Doesn't appeal to me. (No offense) I'm not big on 3D games to begin with. And I"m not into Westerns. SO it just doesn't seem like my kind of game.

Love the music in both.

played it for the first 4 hours or so at a friends house, BUT...I think the mission grow pretty lame after a short while. all you do is shooting...on horses, by foot, in a cave...ah yes and bring some cattle in (which sucked totally I think)

gta 4 seems to be better

what I liked: the soundtrack! and the overall atmosphere. when it comes to gameplay: see above, everything works fine, but it started to bore me.

yeah man, you have no idea the hoops I had to jump thru to track this thing down. It's definitely one of my trophy-carts, made all the better by the fact that it's an unbelievably great port.

The game of LOVE. :o :o :o

Rockstar Games have this uncanny ability to prevent boredom setting in with tons of distractions. Red Dead Redemption is no exception, plus the role-playing elements of the game keeps interest piqued. The flora and fauna of the region you play in looks amazing. It's on a par with the likes of Oblivion and Far Cry 2. At times it's simply breathtaking. The changes in weather and day and night cycles are also amazing. I can easily play the game for hours just riding through the glorious landscape.

Shabbray2.0 pointed out how good the soundtrack for Red Dead Redemption is, and I'm inclined to agree. I recently discovered the soundtrack was mainly composed by Bill Elm and Woody Jackson who are both connected with the band Friends of Dean Martinez. I'm intrigued now over Friends of Dean Martinez. Is anyone here a fan of the band?

it looks interesting, but I haven't had time for my xbox lately.

yeah I prefer SMW as well. Yoshi's Island is great, though. I have a lot less attachment to it than most of the other Mario titles, cuz I came to it much later.
