demonrail666 01.03.2017 01:22 PM

It could've gone either way but definitely isn't as clear cut as Pep suggests.

You tell me

Exactly. I remember that towards the end of the last season somebody said, "You know, Pellegrini should just let City drop out of the top four, throw the towel in the Champions League [they were still in the competition at that point], and make Guardiola WORK for once..."

!@#$%! 01.03.2017 02:33 PM

okay so what those dudes are saying is that the foul happened after the ball was in

so the ball went in twice

they're saying "muy mal bravo..."

which means he blew it

"pifia" is when he punches it but instead... idon't know how to translate "pifiar". it's like, he misses the punch and kinda whacks it funny w/ a spin.PIFIAR. la puta madre cómo se dice éso. anyway. [eta: flub?]

love is blindness
i don't wanna seeeeeee....

lol sorry but i don't feel sorry for pep

he gets paid enough for me to laugh, yes?

"Eso" is never written with an accent mark/tilde, as it's always a pronoun and therefore there's no need for a diacritic, which would be the case if the word could also be used as an adjective.

But seriously, doesn't it bother you when, let's say, people mix up "it's" and "its"? Drives me up a motherfucking wall, lemme tell ya...

"eso" is not an adjective, it's a pronoun (pronomber demostrativo) so the basis of your lesson was fucked in principle

but yeah, no tilde on it for other reasons. the OTHER demonstrative pronouns used to get it but the fucking royal academy keeps changing the rules after you spend a lifetime learning this shit. it's pure bullshit. but eso never had it anyway, though it's in the category that used to get them. get it?

now enough with the word nitpicking and tell me why bravo pifió esa pelota, ueón ignorante.

No, it wasn't. You got reading comprehension problems as well?

Bravo's terrible with crosses or any ball lumped into the box ... so sensible teams concentrate on that. If you let Man City play out from the back they'll have you, but Conte Ranieri and Klopp have all shown how to stop them by hassling their defence non-stop. Mourinho showed the way 1st, but too late to turn around a 1st half deficit. Not saying beating Man City has suddenly become easy but there is a clearcut way of doing it, which Pep won't address.

i'm very pleased that klopp is ahead of him on the table

ah, sweet revenge

and now if man city could please return debruyne to wolfsburg (won't happen, i know i'm dreaming) all will be beautiful

(poor wolfsburg is troubled these days)

Did you watch the two consecutive Copa América finals against Argentina? Bravo successfully punched away, blocked and caught EVERYTHING they threw at him. And it wasn't a (double) fluke. I don't know whether he's truly going through a shitty personal streak or Pep's instructions to the team are so all over the place that several City players' self-confidence is eroding.

Can't comment on the Copa America and Pep's instructions may have contributed to his dip in form (MC's defence generally has been shocking) but he's made too many individual mistakes for it to just be about the manager.
