when twin peaks was on the first time i didnt watch it. i was too young and came into it half way through so didnt understand anything that was happening. as soon as i saw repeats when i was older i was hooked.

I think it was on in about 1990-1991 over here so I was 10 or 11 when it was on. I didn't really follow it all religiously but my mum watched it so I did as well. I had to turn it over once during one of the scenes in that odd stripey room because it terrified me.

This show was brilliant.

Never saw that one. I used to watch freaks and geeks on what is now ABC Family. I cried when I could not find it in its regular timespot.

i haven't seen firefly, although i want to. i'll get the dvd as it is quite cheap i believe.

you'll love it. and then "serenity" will make perfect sense. oh the commentary on the firefly dvd is hilarious, starting with the first episode where joss whedon attributes his choice of genre (cowboy SF) to being stoned. really great stuff.

I cried like a bitch before anything had started happening at the last episode.
