I raised about $25 dollars, and then luckily report cards came in the mail. Straight fuckin' A's. My parents then agreed to pay for the rest. |

FUCK!
FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! A week ago, I didn't expect for my parents to let me go to this show with my sister when I first found out about it. I was fucking suprised when they said if I could get my sister to take me and get the money that they would let me go. That made me fucking happy. Knowing that whether or not I could go was up to me was a comfort. I got the money, I got the ride. And now my fucking mother is telling me she might not let me go because it is on a fucking Tuesday! A fucking school night! As if that shit even matters. I have the fucking grades. I could fail all my finals and still have A's. "I'm sure they'll come around again" she said. "Nothing is definite" she said. But if it were up to her, I wouldn't be going. FUCK! Why the fuck did she let me even think that I could go if she was just going to take it away 2 fucking days before the show? I told her all the information a God damn week ago. FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! |
mmm
meltdown you just have to be calm & not blow it they are testing their tenuous power over you for whatever reason (probably just a confusing mixture of emotional stuff) it seems to me you are right and have every right to go and so if you just calmly stay the course (whatever that may entail) you will prevail |
ouch!
sorry man... diplomacy... use your previous reputation to establish your trust. trust: "hey mom it's tuesday & once in a lifetime & i rule the school." if that fails, get your dad to talk on your behalf. of course, overprotective mothers are a tough nut to krakkk... oy!! consider maybe bribery or blackmail? :D |

I'll talk to them, but my mom decided to tell me this when my dad was at work. It has to wait until tomorrow. How good for her. Quote:

the 3 b's: bargain, if that fails: bribe, if that fails: blackmail. sorry man, stupid joke. i don't know what to tell you. pain in the ass! the bargain part is true. make some promises-- do your homework in advance. enroll the help of your sister (pay her off if you must). anyway i have to get off the internet & go watch motorcycle diaries, but best wishes & i hope you win. |
I liked that movie. Oh Gael is dreamy.
