hah , ive wondered this and talked about it with a friend once . they just said they'd assume i stopped using the internet and got a life or something .

It's kind of sad that something could happen to us--car accident, murder, get a life--and we'd just disappear from here and nobody would know what happened. There should be an SY ouiji board or something that we could resort to, for contacting the dead SY forum members.

i can't help but laugh at the addition of "ing" at the end of the word suicide.

My grandfather died yesterday. I went to sleep last night thinking about suicide, death, entirely morbid subject matter.

Yeah, Im alright, sort of. Everything's just a bit weird at the moment. I just found out when the funeral will be, so now I'm calling around talking to my brothers about what-to-wear and stuff.. they're more upset than I am. I find myself offering endless cups of tea.

remember to get a cup for yourself too, or accept if somebody offers...

funerals are strange, but they do help somewhat, i think, ritually, in spite of the awkwardness. but then there's a need for private rituals & i hope you & your brothers find one that help you deal... i keep some objects that belonged to my grandfather on my desk, and they keep him alive somehow.
